Being a bit more observant. . . .

Talk about truly walking past a total blazing and blinking road sign.

So we stopped for dinner at the local truck stop (best clam chowder I've had in ages!)and somehow I must not have taken the hint when Rich asked me to look at my 6 o'clock but I didn't want to make my staring too obvious.

On the way out the door, Rich asked, "So did you see?" and I still wasn't getting the hint.

Then Rich mentioned the conversation he overheard from another person who asked the customer the exact same question when he saw this person who looked an awful lot like this. . . .

When I finally saw this, Rich has to ask, "Really?  You didn't see this?  It's like a f%$king road flare!"

Okay, so I'm totally oblivious to some things going on around me.  Luckily I have people around me to wake me up to what's happening around me. :-)
